Thomas Giella Jr.

Thomas is lead organizer for 2016 and 2017. He is in charge of venue logistics, budgeting, and making sure everyone is on point.

Thomas is the owner of Gear Spinners Website Design and Hosting & Complete I.T. Computer Repair and Networks. A company whose sole goal is to provide businesses great online and office I.T. solutions. Thomas began his career with a degree in design in 2006, leading to a degree in management in 2011. Recently married to his beautiful and amazingly smart wife Amy in January 2016. Thomas is also the developer behind Divi Mobile Menu, a popular Divi Theme Plugin.

Jim True

Jim is the Community Manager & Support Lead for Pods Framework. Jim is handling Speaker Wrangling & Stage Managing for WordCamp Tampa this year and has worked on our Communications, Website, Artwork and Project management.

Jim is a Graphic designer & web developer, budding photographer & artist, avid book reader & pop culture fanatic, former pastry chef & healthy food aficionado, coffee drinker & ice cream addict, autodidact & aspiring digital nomad. He also provides coaching to aspiring freelancers on how to work doing the things you love instead of just working to survive.

Thomas Townsend

Tom Townsend is the Sponsor Director and Veterans advocate for WordCamp Tampa. He is a multi talented developer and project management professional who runs SMBsocial, a web development and marketing agency that provides Digital Presence Solutions to SMB’s (Small Medium Business). His team helps solve real business problems with creative applications and platforms built on WordPress.

New for 2016 his team has launched WP-ServiceManager

Alison Foxall

Alison is the founding lead organizer for WordCamp Tampa. She’s in charge of Communications, and making sure things are running smooth.  Professionally, she is a founding partner and lead designer of Gobble Logic; a web design, development, and marketing firm. Alison has been using WordPress since 2004. When she isn’t running the business, Alison serves as a Director-at-Large for the Libertarian Party of Florida.

Elaine Simmons

Elaine Simmons is a web and graphic designer working in the Tampa Bay area. Elaine is leading the Art & Creative Team this year, co-organizing the after party, the exclusive VIP dinner, and also serves as a production and conceptual artist for WordCamp Tampa’s various signage and printed materials.

KJ Sampat

KJ joins the Organizing team this year helping out with Communications, Social Marketing and with organizing the VIP Dinner and After Party. This is KJ’s first WordCamp ever!

Alphonso Montibello

Alphonso Montibello is in charge of lunch logistics and has helped WordCamp Tampa secure sponsorships. Alphonso has 35 years experience in Product Development, Project Management, Marketing Management, Sales and Operations. By day he is a web consultant with Creative Web Actions and by night he is the Brandon community organizer for Tampa Bay WordPress.

Lindsay Jo Crenshaw

Lindsay is handling our Registration and also working in production for Art & Media. Full time, she’s a Graphic Designer at an automotive marketing company, but pursues interests like hand lettering after hours – when she’s not playing with her infant son, Miles. She’s designed for the WordPress companies CalderaWP and Foo Plugins, and has definite plans to work within the WordPress community further.
